Khun Andy's neighborhood

Hi all,
Sorry it has taken me so long to get these posted. For those expecting exotic pictures and tales, this post may prove a little on the dull side. But I've had a number of requests for pictures of my neighborhood and here is the first batch. All these pictures were taken within a 10 minute walk or less from my condo. The Pad Thai cooking lesson pics were also within a 10 minute walk. As Bangkok neighborhoods go, it is a fairly quiet one. It's a bit on the expensive side, but most neighborhoods along Sukhumvit within a 10 minute walk of the skytrain are. On a hot day like today, I'm still pretty hot by the time I get to the skytrain (henceforward to be called BTS). One good thing is that at my stop, there are escalators going up. Once up on the platform, it's usually not a very long wait before the luxuriously airconditioned train arrives to give some much needed relief. Using BTS, I can get to most places in the city pretty quickly. Sometimes I think I'll save time by taking a taxi, but that is always wishful thinking. If BTS goes there, it is always the fastest way! All for now. I have some more neighborhood pics I'll try to get up in the next few days before I go back to more exotic stuff. Stay in touch!
