May 2, 2020 Wat Wang Dang
Dear
Blog Readers,
Today
is Saturday May 2, 2020. Tomorrow will be the first day of an easing
of lockdown requirements in Thailand. Sale of alcohol has been
banned for quite awhile and as of tomorrow, own can buy alcohol again
but cannot consume it in a bar or restaurant. Doesn’t make much
difference to me, but many expats and Thais too are quite happy!
As
is often the case here, the rules are a bit vague. I’m not sure if
my pool can open or if it will open at the beginning of June when
school is supposed to start. Needless to say, everything is
dependent on whether or not we end up having Covid-19 spikes. So far
there have still been no reported cases in our village and very few
in our entire province. Fingers crossed!
Photos
today are from another temple we visited last Tuesday. This one is
called Wat Wang Dang; not to be confused with Wang Dang Doodle.
The
lead photo is one of my recent favorites. When I got close to the
entrance this cat hissed loudly at me to stay away!
As
always all photos have been taken by me, I hope you enjoy!
